We dropped the k member and installed both the longtubes. Then I had to leave but they were still working on it.

man...we forgot to put the steering shaft through the header....



and we can't get the one motor mount bolt out, so tommorow we are getting some twisty wrenches and crap and hopefully have them on...this really blows...we were putting the k member up when i noticed

yeah... it really sucks. Derrick gave me a ride home lol...

We're goin back over there tomorrow morning so we can get that damn driver side headers off to get the steering shaft on and get it right. then put it back on.

Thats a good 2hrs lost and another 1 putting it back on.

It's gonna be a beesh tomorrow. Me and derrick are gonna get there fairly early to get er done.

Well it's a good thing it is finally finished. Sorry I couldn't make it out to help today. My car took longer to get finished then I expected and I am still beat up from working on Pat's car the other day. How did it sound with just the open headers?

I wasnt there for just the open headers but Pat told me it was just loud as hell didnt sound good at all just defining loud lol

Open headers sounded like ass. It was insanly loud though. with the full exhaust, it sounds like one of the best gt's i've ever heard. I'm very pleased. It was well worth it.

My breaks are screwed up, my steering has way too much slack in it, and i think i have a small drivers side gasket lead damnit... but i'm just gonna have a shop do those things. I cant deal with that right now haha.

It was well worth it though.

it sounded like a drag car open x and open headers...i personally agree with pat, definately one of the best sounding GT"s on the street.

i just worked as much as i could. I was really excited once we started to tear into it. Appologies to pat if i just kept jumpin on ****. I wanted that sucker done! It was so worth it!

on another note... the leak is gettin pretty damn bad. I really need to get it in, cuz i'm sure as hell not gettin under there for at least another 2 months haha. I need to go check the codes. I'll post all of em when i get back on... my guess is, at least 4 thrown codes haha
