It will take more than one form of communication, apparently. Tim, can you send a text message to a person's phone as you send the email to everyone at the same time? Kill two birds with one stone, so to speak. Also, I may be able to add a contact preference to members profile pages. That will help us determine who prefers what. No matter what, every event will always be posted on the MI Upcoming Events forum and MI home page.

well guys we gotta update member apps at the meeting on the 17th anyway and at that point i will make a note on everyones app as to contact preference. IF need be i can call those that wish the weekend before events since i work a crazy schedule but have weekends off... As for the Prez and VP calling i wouldn't count on it.... Eric is no longer VP we haven't seen him in like a year and a half, Dan is VP now and he leaves for work at 4AM and usually comes rolling back into town about 11PM and Brian has already asked for mine and Dan's flyers and business cards because he don't want anyone contacting him so i wouldn't count on him calling anyone...

Everyone is at least in some way connected personally to at least one other member so I don't think it would be that hard to get the word out anyway. This may be blown into a bigger issue than it really needs to be.

I think so also. It's not realy an issue.
The funny thing I sent out that e-mail to 30 some people and told them if they want to be contacted another way than e-mail to let me know and NOT 1 Person has responded they want it any other way
