This Saturday June 28th starting at 12:00pm the park opens at 10:00 am
at the Robert Morrice Park

I finally got a chance to get on! I'm game for leaving 'round here like 10:30 or 11:00. Our best meeting place seems to always be the Meijers in Charlotte, what does everyone think? We can always leave earlier if we really want to get there, but I don't think it's necessary. I would like to get us all together there with the banner up by our cars though. We need to start calling and sending some PM's though, so other members are notified. Shady, could you change the MI page to show the Comstock event for this weekend? Use the info that Jessica got together for that! I'm gonna need some help getting a hold of others, I'm working all day Thurs. and 'til noon Friday.

I'll meet you guys at the shell station off exit 85 (galesberg). Providing you are taking I94 right? And than we will head up to the park it's a couple of miles up the road off that exit.
I have a 10x10 pop up canopy that I'll bring and you will probably want to bring your own chair to set in.

OK guys we need to make this a lessons learned event and do better planing. I just talked to Bud the director of the show because I herd this show was supposed to be a "Classic Car" show. He did sound hesitant about letting us enter but said it would be OK. I know this was a last minute thing but next time we need to make sure we get all the info before we attend something :^drunk^:

I have to work that morning but if there any late starters we could meet and head out late afternoon.

i should be in but my girlfriend has to have a cope today so if they get into it and have to do surgery then we'll have to see how things go... sorry guys she already feels like she is second to the club and then if she has surgery and i skip out for a car show i will be sleeping on the couch for a long freakin time

Jus gotta get her more involved!! LOL!! Heather doesnt have a prob doin events... she knows I love hanging with the club and she always supports it!!! Most of the time she asks me when the next event is!! LOL!!

Sorry guys I am out of this one, I went to the Dr. today and i tore the miniskus in my knee, i am on bed rest i can hardly drive to work, unless someone wants to drive me lol lol...
But it's bed rest for me this weekend, I will be there in spirit

Zac she has no problem doing stuff with the club but it is a little harder when you got a 20 month old... that and she had a scope done today and they were looking at possibly doing further surgery and if they would have i don't see her being in any shape at 10 in the morning to do a club event LOL.

I didn't get the vibe that we were going to enter this one, just attend it. I think we all love the classics regardless. And on the planning subject, we need to get together to plan next year's events soon. Our schedule this year came together late (out of necessity) and gas prices are just killing the "cruise" as we know it. I'm still in, and I know Mike (Shelby) will be there too. Jabben, give me a call (I'll PM my cell to you) and meet us there!

With only a few cars that made it, we decided to go to the Gilmore car museum! Man, that place is cool! Lot's of badazz rides up there. Mike, we'll catch you soon!

If its any consolation... we took 3rd at the paintball tournament!!!
