Exhaust Guy!

a buddy of mine at work knows a kick ass exhaust guy!!! he is supposed to be getting me his number within the next few days! looks like third mortgage is due lol :^drunk^: :*drive*:

let me ask you guys somthing. I was thinking about taking out the exhaust and runn a straight pipes . But i dont know how load thay will be. Or if it will even sound good.

J ran open pipes then tossed some SLP's on, its all about how you like it. take them off if you dont like the tone then toss some mufflers on!

Straight pipes are meant for the Big Block/Small Block track cars...I hate to say it like that.

If you do any type of driving in your car the most I would recommend would be the following:

Long Tube (LT) headers, O/R X pipe, Flowmaster 3 chamber/ Magnaflow exhaust, 3-4" tips (extremely loud, but fun when passing those rice burners)

LT headers, catted Xpipe, Flowmaster 3 chamber/ Magnaflow exhaust, 3-4" tips (Very nice sound, I strongly advise this)

Stock manifolds or Shorty headers, catted Xpipe, Flowmaster 3 chamber/ Magnaflow exhaust, 3-4" tips (Mild sound, for those that just want some exhaust note)

oh they sound amazing man i cut out the mufflers and welded pipe in the place its loud but it sounds great!

what i was thinking about doing after we put the bbk short headers on . Is put the straight pipes . And if that sounds to loud . Then i am going to order a set of Borla .

How do you think the bbk and borla would sound?

Borla sounds good with almost anything but I have never heard it with bbk. Would you get the stingers or the other ones?

Well last sat i was driving around. And i was like f**k it let me go see how much it will be to have them cut off the exhaust and run a strate pipe.

I would have to say it sounds nice. She seem to runn smother with out them.

i have a straight through design muffler with LT's, and an O/R X. Its probably the loudest GT i've heard around indy, and it still keeps all the awsome 4.6L tones

Nice, thats the setup I had on my 06 for a while and then tried an offroad h-pipe and it sucked.

What is a offroad h-pipe.

If so did you hear the Exhaust . If so how did it sound.

Here whos exhaust?

I've personally heard all of the exhausts from the Indy guys and know that:

Pat's could raise the hair on James Browns corpse
Stevi's sounds like a run away freight train heading into a tunnel
Cole's sounds silent but deadly...it's there but sneaks up on you and wham!
David's well his changes everyday, because he can't seem to find something that works
Zak's sounds like an mini dragster low rumble until punched then plug your ears
Jason's has a very distinct, "don't mess with me" sound
Derrick's has the old school 5.0 sound; nice and throaty
Tyara's sounds like jaguar on acid
And my Roush has little or no sound at all. But the L on the other hand is a little deceptive; it has a slight rumble but just watch out when the gas is applied.
