Well I bought new exhaust

well, last night the cobra died on the circle of all places. I beleave the battery went bad on me but not sure yet. I'm gonna pick a new one up today and see if it fixes it. But any how why i'm i getting a new exhaust from a battery going bad. Like I said it died down town and I did not know what was wrong or what it was going to take to fix it there plus the business it died infront of was getting at me cuz I pulled over in there valay? parking area so I called my buddy to bring his trailer to just get it out of down town and fast. Once he gets there where loading it up with a winch on the circle with everbody curzing by talking **** so i'm getting mader by the minute. :*gripe*: In the haste the exhaust clamp between the the x and the catback got cought on the trailer and ripped the flange where the cat back bolts up right off. So I guess i could just fix it but i've wanted to get new exhaust for a long time so this is a good excuse. So maybe by next weekend I'll have my full bassani exhaust on it if it shows up in time.

That sucks man, but you should be happy with the bassani. Are you just getting a bassani catback or you changing the rest of the exhaust also?

i talked to him today and he said that the new batt. seemed to fix it so lets hope thats it was he's doing x pipe and cat back bassani as far as i know

cant he start the car then disconnect the battery? if the car dies then the alt. is bad

Well a new motorcraft battery seems to have fixed it. The things stupid loud right now like wake the dead loud so i'm hoping the exhaust will show up this week some time. And I did buy the offraod x and a catback from lethal performance

kool i'll let you know when it gets here, in the mean time though i might have to put the stock stuff back on it cuz my little bro totaled his civic si today and now does'nt have a car so I might have to let him drive the jeep for a few days which means me drive the cobra. I dont know whats going to happen at this point

Nice! Did you end up going with the ss or bx series?

I went cheap bought BX

i've heard though that BX still has SS mufflers just the pipes different. I'll let you no in a couple days when I get it.

Ya I have heard the same thing. That the mufflers are stainless steel and the rest of the piping is aluminized steel I believe. Still a badass kit no matter how you look at it. Do you drive your car a lot in the rain or snow? If not then I don't really think you should have much of a problem with it.

I try not to but i'm not going to freak out if it gets wet but no snow tried it sucked never do it again plus I got a 99 jeep grand cherokee limited i drive every day

no but i cobed the x pipe together and stuck my factory cat -back on man it sounds bad no like kool bad but just bad

that makes me sad keep us informed on how its going

Got my bassani today hope to put it on tonight because the exhaust leak is way embarassing
