Modular stuff is very expensive and going NA even with high compression doesn't yield much power. The bore of the cylinders is just too small and the 2v heads suck donkey Dick. To build a 12:1 motor and have it hit the 450rw, you'd need a bigbore short block with forged pistons (About $6k), 4v heads with some serious bowl work $2500, custom cam profiles $1500-2000 and of course you'll need about $300 to put it all together. lol.

With modulars, it's cheaper to buy a blower and make 400rw than it is to stay NA and make 300rw.

Modular mustangs is a bunch of morons. I hate that site, if you want tech info on modulars go to Corral.net or moddedmustangs.

Have summit price match with their free shipping. I saved hundreds of $$ finding a cheaper price on different sites with expensive shipping and having them price match. Also remember, if the sales person says they can't price match some place because you can't get it without expensive shipping; inform him that summits price match policy doesn't have anything to do with shipping and that they are supposed to price match the item.

I've gotten a few sales people that were less than informed of their own policy.

Nice! Thanks I'll look into it. I wonder if we can get them added as a club discount... That would be huge!
