Traffic Light Camera's

Just to let everyone know there are Traffic Light Camera's along the 101 parkway from Wilma Rudolph and 41A. I am not sure how long they have been there but I have never noticed them until this weekend.

I saw TDOT out on Friday doing something, but didn't realize it was the cameras...Big Brother is out again.. :*gripe*:

I think there's six intersections in Murfreesboro with cameras. Church @ Broad, Church @ Mid-TN Blvd, Northfield @ Memorial are the ones I've noticed so far.
I don't know what the penalty is for running one... don't wanna find out the hard way.

I was thinking of painting them all black...but we could paint pictures of women on them....that should keep them busy for a while....

I say we break up into groups, split up on the lights on a saturday night, get out of our cars and give them the Wildhorse Group Moon...timed and in sync.

the ones that give you tickets are on the side of the road. the ones on top of the poles are strobe detectors to change the lights for emergency vehicles.

Rutherford Blvd @ Mercury Blvd. (Where it turns into John Bragg Hwy going to Woodbury)
Thompson Ln @ Old Fort Pkwy. (Just off I-24, exit 78B)

I hear that it's just a fine for running one, no points on your license... proving it's nothing more than just another way to "paint the town green."
