UPR Shifter Empty UPR Shifter

Post by Guest Fri Jun 13, 2008 2:37 pm

Just took my first test drive since i installed the shifter last night....I am very pleased!

After i put it in, it didn't seem like it was any different than the stock...then when i got it out i realized how good it felt...but anyways. Happy with my purchase and definately would recomend the shifter. It's no where near as stiff as the tri-ax which is the only reason i didn't purchase it but it still stiff enough for you to never miss a shift! 3rd is not longer a B*tch to get into!

Now just need the mach 1 spoiler and of course the grille, so you can get rid of that ghetto one you made.

I have a UPR on my 3650, I made a handle myself out of some round stock and some welding skrillz...lol... Honestly, I like it better than the MGW I had on there for a long time. The UPR is more like an enhanced stock feels, gets rid of all the bad stuff the stock shifter has going for it, but keeps the easy to shift and handle feel.

exactly man. You hit it right on the button. sorry bout the bad blood at first.

So is your handle lower than the exteme ajustable? that's the one i got with it and its low and i set it so it's straight up and get's rid of that funky bend toward the driver and i'm loving it.

It's so ghetto man. If i don't need the caster cambers right away i'll be ordering the grill and chin spoiler or possibly some other little goodies...idk yet

Anyway, just got the springs on. Thanks again dave. lol. Looks really good. About to head up to the hospital parking garage to grab some pics...also got the rear drag rims painted gloss black to match the rest, they aren't perfect but IMO look really good.
