Hey guys,
It's the time of year when I realize I haven't logged into any Mustang sites for months.
Looks like I missed of ton of stuff, a few events and car upgrades. I'm sure someone in the group has come up with a cure for fake hoodpins by now, and I don't even realize it.
Been a quiet winter until someone backed into my car last week. Note seriously, but enough to net me a new bumper. Going with the stock coupe bumper. I'm afraid if I get anything closer to the ground I'll rip it off on a parking lot curb. Going to have the body shop replace the headlights with smoked ones. My old ones were sandblasted and fogged. I'm not necessarily a fan of smoked headlights, but the smoked lenses were cheaper than stock. And the body guy said they would make my car "pop". I hope that's a good thing.
Other than that, I've got a few minor upgrades in mind; LSD and 3.73 gears. Nothing too serious. My goal is to ride this pony one more year and then grab a 2013 next year. At least that's the plan. You know how that goes.
Excited to get out to the track soon. Hope to see you guys there.

Picture of new front bumper and headlights.
Notice the LED driving lights located on the lower grill.
Even with the super bright bulbs in the headlights, they were not throwing out enough light at night.
The LED's made a huge difference. They work great, easy to install and didn't cost much.

Also, Valley did much better with the second rebuild of my rear end. So far she is breaking in OK. Can't feel a huge difference between the 3.31 & 3.73 gears but the Trak-Lok makes a big difference. I haven't launched it yet, though. Hopefully I can try that on Saturday Smile
