Submit Ideas for 2012 Season!

Have and idea of an event that you would like us to do as a club, then please submit it on this thread. We have some pretty cool things planed for next year but are always looking for different things to do that makes everyone happy. If you have a link to the event post that also or give us the name of the event when it is and we can Google it. Not all ideas may make it to the schedule, but we will do our best to look closely at all considerations and possibilities.

I've been thinking of something different for Memorial Day weekend (instead of the parade) on the events schedule. Not sure who here will be organizing the parade in Eaton Rapids this year, with the city being jerks about the spilled coolant issue, and just a need to do something different for a change. What are your thoughts on this y'all?

Im in for the Port Huron show. I was up/over that way working last year during one of their shows real nice turn out.

I forgot to add that we should get into the yankee doodle day parade in Grand Ledge. They were doing burn outs across the bridge. :-) I know a couple people to get the ball rolling on this if we can get a good turn out.

Sounds good - Northgate Ford always welcomes us and we've had great turnouts in the past, last year was a little small for some reason so I'm hoping we fill the used car side of the dealership again.

an outing at a drag strip...Martin has a decent deal on Wednesday's during the summer.... was around $10

I would like to find more info on the dragstrip in Onadaga.

Dan for what it's worth I agree, The Eaton Rapids parade doesn't sound like much fun if they are going to treat folks like criminals because of an accident. Let them invite a bunch of oil leakin chevy's instead
Dansville always has a great parade but I have no idea who to contact if we wanted to enter as a club, I can look into it if you like??
How about a club picnic mini car show instead?

Im still thinking the Grand Ledge Yankee Doodle Day parade would be a blast. This date is June 23rd on Saturday. Last year my family went and had a blast. There is things to do after the parade also.
