I was downtown on riverside this morning and they reopened the main through-way intersection at 2nd Street. Riverside isn't covered in Water anymore, however it is still closed to the public and the area along the river has been declared a disaster area by the state. Riverside is a State road and will remain closed until TN D.O.T. gives it the green light to reopen. Theres still alot of standing water on both sides of the road in the low spots and parking area for businesses all down the road. But the good news is business owners are able to get to their respective areas and start clean-up and assessing the damage.
