We made it!

We made it to Germany but our luggage didn't! 
They even lost my dog! 
But fortunately he showed up 2 flights after we did, we only had to spend almost 5 hours in the airport after our flight landed 2 hours late. 
It was a very very long day. Jody was able to get back to the baggage claim area to help so it could have been worse. But we have nothing. Every piece of checked luggage was lost. It's not been a good start to our European Adventure. But we are together and that's something. Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I miss you all already.

I have my passport now. It came in the mail Friday. So we'll get over there sometime or other.

My husband is a soldier and he was assigned here, so here we are for 3 years. I hope to find some good mustang people here to hang out with. I already miss my Mustang family.

What base? I was arrested there at Ramstein AFB and put on indefinite restriction till the investigation cleared me, lol. I will never get drunk on my way to Kuwait ever again, lol. Ahhhh, good times-good times.

We are at Weisbaden Army Airfield. Jody's assigned to 66th MI as a PBO. The airfield is very small but nice, everything is within walking distance.
