4 valve swap, again! Empty 4 valve swap, again!

Well we finally took the plunge and tore apart a perfectly good car. But its all in the name of performance so I think Ill get over it. The boys and I pulled the engine and trans out of the Markviii last weekend and now all I have to do is start collecting parts. Hopefully it will be good to go by next spring. Anyone have any preferances as far as who to have do the tune? I was thinking of Pauls HP.

I'd love to take my car to Pauls but last time I talked to him he quoted 1K to do the tuning.
If your car is just stock I would do a mail in tune.
I did it recently and I'm pretty pleased. Unfortunately I never made it to the track after the tune to see if it helped or not
If this is a route you want to go let me know and I will send you the website SCT told me to use

I would not take a Pinto to Paul's HP. I have had too many negative experiences dealing with Paul.

Go see Lidio at Alternative Auto. He's twice the tuner that Paul is and will give you an honest awswer on what you need at a fair price.

Right back at you....

Lidio is a fcuking arrogant tool and I wouldn't let him tune up my lawnmower. I've got 3 of my friends have been fcuked because of him. One of his great builds consisted of a 10.6:1 compression (Uneven compression BTW between sides) PI swapped 96 shortblock with that already had 100k on it with countless N20 sprays at 100 shot that was fitted with a 2.2KB. Lidio swore up and down all that needed to be done was to swap the pistons. (Same dish and the SAME CRAP RODS) Well the tune consisted of a set of wires on the floor. His Decay was so bad it stalled every time he put it in Drive or stopped at a light. Oh and he made it a month after the KB was put on. His car spent more time at Lidio's than it did in his own driveway.

LIDO = ONE GIGANTIC TURD (Damn, that pic was nasty, not to mention painful I'm sure)

Well for now the car is going to be pretty stock, but I would like to eliminate the o2 sensors. Is this going to be possible w/ the sct tuner? Sorry for all the dumb questions but this a first for me.
