That's right the noise ordiance didn't pass tonight at the City Council Meeting. By a vote of 7 NO and 5 YES the noice ordiance wasn't passed!!!
There was over 250 people that showed up in support of the Speedway. This now means that the track will be able to continue it's regular formats without any limitations.

THANKS to Steven & Michelle, Nick E., Ernie, Mike S., Larry & Meagan, Shaun, Michael, Todd and Karen for coming out showing your support..

Just goes to show that the one who rocks the boat too much usually gets wet... by getting thrown out! violent

I suppose being there, even on the sidewalk, contributed to the protest. The important thing is that we won. I bet any council member that voted yes also put their re-election in jeopardy.

yeah you should have seen his face when william asked for anyone there that was supporting the track to stand up and the whole room but 5-6 people stood up and we had people in the hall way and down stairs it was great... maybe he finally gets it the track was there first and the noise ordinance doesnt apply to it because it a licenced track so the ciy ordinance didnt apply :*woohoo*:

I am glad it turned out good. Would of hatted to see all these young people with no place but the streets to try there cars on.
