I'm still in but sure hope the rain stops. I will probably have to leave after the judging of the car show around 3:30 p.m.

We will not be able to make it, our son Cameron (you met last Fri night) had a collapsed lung on Tuesday been in hospital since & surgery today to repair. Will be in hospital thru rest of weekend and not able to drive (he doesn't know this yet!!!) for 2 weeks! Ugh - it has been one miserable week!

Yeah, I remember talking to him for a while. He seems like a really cool kid.

Oh my god! I hope all is well, what in the world happened?! Let him know we're pullin' for him!

On a side not, I may not be able to make it either. I've had a couple of things come up today that may force me out of time for the weekend. Nothing set in stone yet, but it's not looking good. Uggh.

Thanks - he is a pretty good kid - normally doesn't cause us any problems, so I can't complain! LOL!

He is doing a little better today. He had something called a "bleb" which is basically a little spot on the lung that was allowing air to escape into his chest wall. That cause the lung to "spontaneously" collapse. It mostly happens in tall, thin, young men the doc says. He repaired it yesterday but he still has a chest tube which will be in until he goes home and it's giving him fits - says it is uncomfortable & hurts. He's 18 so he will bounce back - hopefully - real soon!
