Tri-Chapters Meet
This years Tri-Chapters Meet will be May 29 - 31. We'll be in Ohio this year, right outside Cincinnati. Lots of things to do in the area, but the biggest thing is the Tri-State Dragstip and Competition Racing Go-Karts, both are within a 40 minute drive of our hotel. So we'll get to cruise as well, to each of the locations.
More details on the Go-karts here..40 MPH Go-Karts
More details on the Dragstrip here..Drag Strip
At this moment there are a total of 22 rooms reserved for the meeting. 5 doubles and 17 singles. More doubles are availalbe if needed. Room rates are $63.80 per night on the doubles and $52.20 per night on the singles. This price includes all taxes..
More details on the Hotel here...Wildhorses Tri-State Hotel
If you're needing a room let myself or your Chapter President know so arrangements can be made.
Looking forward to the trip and meeting everyone once again.

Re: Tri-Chapters Meet
Here is the information on the Tri-State Dragstrip listed in first post.
Fri Test - N- Tune 5 to 9 $15.00 to race $5.00 to watch. We can work out grudge racing within the club. It would be part of the Test N Tune.
Saturday is a Jr. Dragster day only. Spectators only $5.00
Sunday Street Class Bracket racing, super pro box and unbox racing and Jr. dragsters. It sound like the only class we could qualify for is Street 12sec to 19.99. $25.00 to race $10.00 to watch. Gates open at 9:30 am and racing at 1:30
If you have any questions post them here.

Re: Tri-Chapters Meet
What is the deal with the go-karting? Are we going to have a group rate or will we just be showing up and paying individually?

Re: Tri-Chapters Meet
Don't think we will be doing the go-karts since our youngest isn't old enough to go. We've been researching and it looks like we will be going to the Cinncinnati Zoo on Saturday. I thought I would see if any one else with younger kids would want to come with.
New option, we've been looking at King's Island, an amusement park just a few miles from Hamilton and it looks like a blast and not terribly expensive. Here's the link if any one is interested:

Bad news, we won't be able to make the meet. We have a Brigade formal ball to attend that same weekend that we already have tickets and hotel room. Have enough fun for us.

Re: Tri-Chapters Meet
Well it doesn't really look like too many are intrested anyway. Maybe we should just cancel and reschedule for a later date. We haven't had any rooms reserved as of yet, and eddie has to turn them back in by this sunday. Guess the economy is just to strapped this year. Anyway whatever we do on SAT, will be fun heck we all can just sit around the pool all day, and cook out that night and just be together. Anything, just to get folks out and all be together. Hey we could even have a small show and shine and charge people five to just look at our rides.

Re: Tri-Chapters Meet
I had to make desision on trips. I had to give up certins thing to do other things. I took off for about two weeks to do the MAA 45 aniversery in AL and I was to do the big One day event in MI so that why I cant do these other things. I also am doing rolling thunder and I do that every-year. It sounds like it was going to be alot of fun but I just cant afrod to do everything this year. I hope you all have fun. I thought about driving up and just hanging out at the hotel but that weekend is the weekend the 160th is do there family day and since I am a widow of that unit they send me an invite every year. it happen to fall on the same weekend.

Re: Tri-Chapters Meet
Sorry maxstealth but I guess you miss my last post, we aren't going to be able to make it.
The timing is bad for us and the planned events weren't something we could do with the whole family, even though we did find alternatives. I had actuall just forgotten we had the ball that same weekend. A reschedule would definitely interest us.

Sandy and I will not be able to attend. My work schedule is being altered and I will not be able to get the time off and now with the reductions at Sandy's job she has to work Saturdays.

Re: Tri-Chapters Meet
It really is a matter of money. I have had a whole load of health problems lately and besides not feeling good most of the time, my medical bills are killing me financially.
