Vortech Finished Empty Vortech Finished

Post by Guest Mon Jan 05, 2009 12:30 pm

So we got Blake's car finished on Friday night. Everything went well until we shredded the accessory belt. It was aligned properly when we left but when we stopped to check everything after like 2 miles we found the front two ribs of the accessory belt was shredded... so as soon as we get that worked out everything should be running good. We also noticed the oil feed line to the SC was leaking and while blake was tightening it the fitting just snapped :*bonk(: ... so he has to wait on that to come in the mail... I'll post a vid tonight and hopefully some pictures later on.

The first day of the install I got sick with the stomach virus so I had to go home, but blake and gabe got most of the prep work finished and the next day we finished it all up.

The whole install took about 14 hours from start to finished. 12 hours of it went to relocations/deletes/prep work.

We still have to figure out what is causing the belt to come out of alignment...

Oh and me and blake might make it up on the 10 to golden corral.

Also we are attending uindy in the fall so we'll be indy residents soon so we'll be coming to all the cruises!

Sawheet! Congrats to Blake on the Vortech. And a big hell yeah to you both for becoming Indy residents for schooling. You'll have a ball out here.

we'll get pics up after he cleans the engine bay some. I tried downloading the video I sent to my email from my phone but i can't get it to work so I'll try again tonight. The school computers won't let me do anything.

The oil fitting should be here by monday at the latest and then it should be running.

We found a bolt left on the tensioner that is pushing it out of alignment so we got to cut it off but after that it should work out fine.
