St. Ignace car show/bridge run ????

OK, here's the deal. It seems that due to the rising fuel costs, the St. Ignace show and bridge cruise is becoming difficult thing to pull off. I know many of us originally had planned to go, but our wallets are finally taking a beating with many of us dropping out of the plans due to that and other reasons. It became a reality to me when I saw the gas go up to $4.12/gal. again. That combined with the fact that many of us are trying to save up for the Tri-state meet in August, I think we should look at scaling back some of the plans for this weekend. Jessica, I know you've worked hard to find lodging up there, but it looks like we will only have 2 cars going on the 4 hr. ride. I am looking for some opinions here before plan changes are made to see what you all think. I spoke with Mike (w/the Shelby) and he said that there is a car show in Comstock (by Portage and Galesburg) that would be nice for us to go to this Saturday 6/28 (significantly decreasing our distance to drive). WHAT DOES EVERYONE THINK? If we bring things closer to home, I think we can easily have a better turnout! Please give your input!

Need info! I talked to my old Neighbor this weekend and he said If your in the show you have to be there at 7:00 am. I can't find any info on the interweb :*kaboom*:
