WHEN: Sunday September 11, 2011 Registration 8am-12pm, Participant voting 11:30am-12:30pm, Awards 2:30pm
WHERE: Louis F. Adado Riverfront Park, 300 N. Grand Avenue, Downtown Lansing, Michigan 48933-1214
WHY: Proceeds to benefit Child and Family Services, Capital Area
COST: $12 day of show or $10 early registation by mail to: Capital Area Mustangs, 7253 Willow Highway, Grand Ledge, Michigan 48837

C.A.M. puts on a great show every year. Dash plaques for the first 100 cars. Door prizes, 4/6, and 8 cylinder "muffler rap" contests with open headers being OK, 50/50 raffle, Mustang & Ford trivia, Over 40 trophies are awarded in the following classes:

B 1967-1968 Mustang-All
C 1969-1978 Mustang-All
D 1979-1993 Mustang-All
E 1994-2004 Mustang-All
F 2005-2009 Mustang
G 2005-Present Specialty Mustang-Shelby, Rousch, Saleen, Bullet, Calif. Special
H 2010-Present Mustang
I Mustang Vintage Shelby, Boss, Tiger, Cobra & Pantera-All
J Thunderbird-All
K Pre-1960-Present Ford, Lincoln & Mercury-All
L 1960-Present Ford, Lincoln & Mercury-All
M 1962-1965 Fairlane & Comet-All
N 1966-1967 Fairlane & Comet-All
O 1968-Present Fairlane, Montego & Torino-All
P Front Wheel Drive-All
Q Trucks, SUV, Bronco, Ranchero-All

To avoid any conflict of interest, CAM members WORKING the show, do not vote, which is nice! Since all of the classes are broken up into year ranges and such, we are not gonna be able to park all together. We are planning on going straight to the show, but if some of you guys want to set up a meeting spot and then all roll in together, that would be cool. Someone just has to step up and organize the meeting place. Otherwise, it might be easier to just meet at the show since there are those of us coming from different directions. Please post here if you are planning on attending. See you there!

I'm gonna be working y'all. Hopefully I can see everyone up at the Potter Park Zoo show in a couple weeks.

Planned on coming but gonna have the kids so I will not be able to make it!

Thanks to James, Brian, Richard, Mike, and Bessie for coming out to the show. There were a lot of cool cars there. Too bad none of our club members walked away with any awards. It was still a good time though and all proceeds of the show went to a great cause! Here's a few pics of our cars.

had a good time at the show even without a car.on anouther note my parents who borrowed my car for there company picnic/car show won a first place trophy.so again had a great time hanging out with the club once again.
