Final numbers on March Madness
Well the numbers are in... After a long cold day and wet morning. The event still went on and with minimum complaints, we can state this as another successful event. Even managed to pickup another sponsor for next year in all the transactions for the day. Now to the numbers and stats. Considering the weekend to be a bust some of the numbers are suprising while others are no surprise.
282 in gate attendance. Down 86 persons from last year.
68 register for Car show and 30 for just Show & Shine. Up 38 rides from last year.
42 register for the Racing. Up 12 from last year.
33 competed in the Street Class, 8 competed in the Outlaw Class and 1 for the Bike Class
Also this year, we paid out $430 in the racing format, up from last year. As we get more racers in the payouts will continue to be more.
From everyone that competed in the racing format, only one individual stated they would not return next year. Others stated for this type of event, they would return and recommend others to come as well.
Congrats to the following in the racing competition.
Chris Henderson from Paducah, KY in the 1999 Pontiac Firehawk - Street Class Winner
Stanley Sutton from Calvert City, KY in the 1985 Chevy S-10 - Street Class Runnerup
T.J. Harshbarger from Clarksville, TN in the 2003 Mustang Cobra - Street Class Semi-Finalist
Aaron Keel from Dover, TN in the 1974 Ford Maverick - Street Class Semi-Finalist
Charlie Jackson from Ashland City, TN in the 1978 Chevy Monza - Outlaw Class Winner
Marty Stinnett from Kuttuwa, KY in the 1967 Chevy Camaro - Outlaw Class Runnerup

Re: Final numbers on March Madness
Considering the reschedule and the rain delays it turned out alright.
I wanna thank everyone who helped with the racing and kept it running smoothly.
Maggie had good time too with the car show and being the pack Mule with her truck lol.
