I could use some advice

Well guys.... I REALLY want to sell my car and get a cobra. I have to get 12k to do it.

Option A:

Try to get 12k out of my car like it is (NADA is 10,000) (I have 4k in mods)

Option B:

Take off my x-cal, CAI, flowmasters, chin spoiler, MM C/C plates, wheels, and lowering springs and sell them on forums/ebay and try to get 10k out of my car (resale value)

Basically which option would get me the most $$$ the quickest.

It is listed on autotrader.com right now for 12,249 for a week and i've had NO calls

Part it out then sell the car.

Noone is going to pay you 12k for a v6 man... i'm sorry.

eh... people around here all act like that is reasonable. But everyone on the forums acts like I am way to high lol. Whatever that doesn't hurt my feelings. But the car is worth that to me lol.

Maybe I would be better off looking for 10 and parting it out...

I'd go lower on the rims and tires... you can get em new with tires for that price on ebay...

With all that being used, i dont think you'll get 175 for caster cambers or 300 for the xcal...and honestly man, i coudlnt get 12k for my car, it had 38K on the odo and that was 6 months ago....the economy isn't in our favors right now

10K is pretty high for a v6 too....you can get 99 cobras for less....there are several low mileage 99-00 going for 8.5-9K range

You will need to come down on the xcal, you can find them for 225 used or get them new with lifetime tunes for 399; the chin you may find someone or you may need to come down, can get them for 90 new, and you can get new black mm c/c for 189, so more than likely you will have to come down on that also. If anything just list high and put obo.

I'll try asking 11 for my car as is for awhile and if nothing happens i'll just keep my car i guess.

a guy called and is interested for my car. I think I could get 10k from him with the car stock. Good deal?

Well, I was counting up how much I had in it the other day to tell my insurance agent and just decided I don't want to put anymore money into it. I think a cobra would hold its value better than a sixer would.... really, though, putting any kind of money into a car is stupid b/c you never get it back out. I think I will be happy with a cobra after a chin spoiler and a drop...

BTW... what is it like lowering a Cobra with the IRS???

How much you selling them for?

i dunno... After shipping I have like 1,400 in them. I'd like to get 1k, but that might be unrealistic. They were just bought this spring and are flawless. No curb rash. Tires are in new condition as well.

Ya 1000 is on the high side. You can get the whole setup new for 1100 shipped.

You probably don't want to hear this but here goes, just searching between classes I was able to find 2 different sets. One was black 18x9/18x10 deep dish out back with tires for 600 plus shipping. The other were 18x9/18x10 deep dish out back with tires but chrome wheels instead and asking 800. But then again if you go on some forums I'm sure you could also find individuals asking more.
