Dallas Montgomery Memorial

Hey guys just throwin somethin out there. August 2nd the track here is having the first annual Dallas Montgomery day at the track here in Terre Haute. They're having the normal drag racing (bracket) but the payouts are huge. Also they're having a super 16 door slammer shootout. Fastest door slammer gets $1000. They're also supposed to have a big car show. I'm sure the mustang club here will be there. They're also having a chili cook-off. I'm going and putting my car in the show and thinking about running in the sportsman class even though i'll lose first round with my 5 speed. Its 10 bucks to enter your car in the show which gives you 2 passes into the gate. 25 to enter sportsman with a 500 payout to the winner if anyone has an automatic you might do ok. Its an 1/8 mile track but prep is good. If anyone's interested in going just let me know. No big deal if you dont but figured i'd invite everyone.

just a little info for you guys, i would say no matter what if you come and drive your car here put it in the car show! The reason is that it costs 10 bucks to get into the car show which gives you a pass for yourself and one other person into the dragstrip. However, if you dont enter the car show it is 10 bucks each to get in.
