Past Event: Cars for Caring Cruise-In 6/16/11

Cars for Caring Cruise-In *Celebrate Charlotte*(6:00 - 10:00 p.m.)
Sponsored by Charlotte Cruisers to benefit SIREN/Eaton Shelter! Bring your car, truck, low rider, motorcycle, tractor, etc. & show some support at a family friendly event, the show will take place in downtown on Cochran St.! Admission to the public is free and the cost for entry is only $10 per vehicle, trophies will be awarded in more than 17 car, truck, motorcycle and tractor categories! There will be 50/50 drawings, food available at our local restaurants. Special thanks to Charlotte Cruisers & Bob Bauer! Registration starts at 5pm.
Wildhorses:

This show has a raindate of June 24th same times. The weather is not looking good for Thursday. I will post as soon as I make the rain out call.

I'd like to thank everyone who came out for the show tonight! Also want to throw out a thanks to the folks from West Michigan Mustangs and another Mustang owner who parked with us in our own little "Mustang Alley"! There were 17 of us across from several Corvettes and Camaros (kind of a Ford vs GM theme going on there). BIG thanks to the Charlotte Cruisers for putting on this event, great show!
Congrats to Brad and Jeff for winning their classes respectively (nice trophies guys) and to the Wildhorses club for winning the club participation trophy---WAY TO GO! Three awards, awesome!
Thank you Randy for getting me the hook up to sit in that 3000hp top fuel alcohol funny car while it was fired up and revved! That thing was amazing being in the drivers seat when revving it up---earth shaking loud. That made me feel better after getting in the fender bender earlier (time for a new bumper cover I guess).
Great weather, great friends, and a great show. What a good time! I'll work on the pics as soon as I get my computer back.
