big boy fuel system install

well its been a while so i guess i can add an update..

decided to stay returnless fuel sustem, ordered 2 ford GT pumps, a dual FPDM setup from west coast mustangs http://westcoastmustangs.com/articles/tech/dual_fpdm/dual_fpdm.html (really happy how the wiring kit came and would recommend to all to check him out)

Pulled the stock tank 3 times this month so decided to make a little access panel. not professional quality lol cut with a cutoff wheel but does the job !!



New Feed Line -8AN Y'd to dual -6 AN into the fuel rail.

ha lol, i need rear coilovers and get on a drift track before this bi*ch gets mini tubbed call me the next time you and tyara are free man... need to get together, if i dont hear from ya then im just gonna show up :p

battery box installed, all electrical connections are all set except the fuel hat which will be here on wednesday.



I tested the new secondary fuel pump circuit and it was a tenth of a volt off of the primary circuit. so time to get the fuel hat on and time to test once the car is running.

came in on friday. I need to goto earls and pick up some extra -6 AN lines and fittings then finish up the fuel hat wiring, reinstall the fuel tank.

then hopefully the car will start lol... i hope there will be a vid on here tomorrow!

well, i finished all the lines and loaded the GT40 pump files into my tune. car started but sounds terrible. Im gonna double check things and maybe drive it around the neighbor hood to get some small datalogs tomorrow

agreed... but hey its running AGAIN!

I recieved my new accel coil and MSD wires. i cant believe how much larger the msd's are to the stock ones. I fired the car up with the help from my pops today as they are visiting and she sounded good.



I also found a cracked plug so that was the cause of the breakup i hope under a load. I will take the car out today and test under boost to make sure everything is ok. if so, then i will be back to tuning! updates to come!

wish i had good news but the break up is still there under a load. In neutral the motor sounds amazing with no ignition or fuel issues. I raised the rev limiter to 4k from 2.5k and she sounds great! ill have to throw a vid of it on here soon.
