WINDOW DECAL??

Where would I get a club decal to put on my car? Also was looking into window tinting. One place in Lansing does it but I've heard both good and bad about their work. Any suggestions?

Talk to Dan he has the decals.

Dan has the decals and yeah as far as tinting i would go with Zeibart... competitive pricing and national warranty... plus i know they use to run a thing where if you got a ticket for your tint for $20 they would peel it of, let you go get the ticket signed, and then re-tint it...

When I asked about window tinting last year, Dan and Brad recommended:

SunTeks in Holt on S. Cedar, ask for Brandon and tell him you are a Wildhorses member.

Is this no longer a recommended place?

I've got the decals Lyle! I'll have them on Monday. $6 for the pair.

Sunteks in holt does good work but not very organized. Wanted him to create a vinyl for the wall at my house and he has not kept appointments and has trouble finding time for new customers. Maybe this doesn't matter in the world of vinyl.

Ziebart said 240.00 to tint 5 windows. Seems ok I guess. I'll check the other place too. Never been a real big ziebart fan, but who knows?

Oh yeah i forgot about Sunteks. Brandon does do good work and offers a club discount... i can't speak as to his organization though because i've never really dealt with him just seen some of his work...

$240.00 sounds like a lot. There is a guy in Sidney just before you get to Stanton that quoted me $159.00 for all five windows. And if I wanted him to cut flames in it would be around $200.00. You might want to look around some more. I know it's a drive, But I can get you his number.

I bought 4 rolls of tint film from Autozone, Ruined 2 took the other 2 back for credit. While I was in line at the holt store the guy working the counter asked why I was bringing it back. I told him because I've never had my azz kicked before but the window film did a nice job whipping me this time. He said there is a guy just down the road that tints, as a matter of fact he was the guy in line ahead of me when I walked up to the counter.
I left and went just down the road to Guess who? Sunteks.
He tinted my windows while I waited in about an hour. We talked and found out he knows most of you guys. I didn't make the connection until I re read this post.
He did a nice job. I'll go back and get the rear glass done when I have more cash, he beat the other guys prices too. Who knew?? Small world I guess.

How much was it?.. I need to get my rear window redone!..

Randy, have you checked with Frank Sanborn (Sanborn Sighcrafters). He is a real nice fellow, done good work for us and is on the CC sponsor list.

240 seems like alot too i believe i payed 160-180 for mine:

entire winshield = 30%
5 other windows = 3% :p

(side note i wont ever tint the entire windshield again) ha cannot see a damn thing at night

He quoted 200.00 to do the whole car. I had 125.00 on me so I just did the side glass for right now.

I paid $180 to have all of my windows done. Then got 10% off so I paid about $170 after taxes. The guys here in SC can now computer etch images into the tint so I've been thinking of getting the rear window redone with the Wildhorses Horse head etched into the tint.
