First airbrush project
Ok so I know it is not a Mustang but I bought myself a nice airbrush for christmas
and wanted to paint something, this my first real airbrush project. I have had no
formal aitbrush training just watching You tube videos. It is not perfect but not too
bad for my first try.
So what do ya think??

Re: First airbrush project
That is actually a cool idea. I have a cracked mustang hood now,{extra hood not on my car} I may just try to paint a cobra on it to see how it turns out, if nothing else it will be more practice.

Re: First airbrush project
That looks really good. The light house is awesome, the water needs a little practice but a h*ll of a lot better than I could have done. Keep it up that's an awesome talent to have and people are always wanting airbrush painted items. Well done.

Re: First airbrush project
The water was the hardest part for me with no real skills to fall back on. I searched videos all over the web to find anything about airbrushing stormy waves, found a few t-shirt videos, no help at all, just had to wing it. I'd like to paint the same picture again in 4 or 5 years to see how it looks then. hopefully my skills will have improved some. I'd like to watch a real airbrush artist for real for tips and advise but I don't know anybody yet.

Re: First airbrush project
I have two friends here in Columbia that own Air Apparel and that's all that they do. They have some of the best air brush art that I've seen. I could certainly put you in touch with them if you'd like. If you have skype you can talk and watch at the same time.

Re: First airbrush project
Thank you for the offer I appreciate it. I'm not sure what skype is? I have talked to my local paint store rep and he knows a local artist that he will try to introduce me to, Feels like a blind date His work is really cool. Also signed up to some airbrush forums to see what advice they have.
I'm hoping to start two more pictures real soon. If they turn out well I'll post some more pics. Thanks again.
