Yes we will.Eturner wrote:I remember last time there was a moment of silence, and then at the end Dan motioned for the whole group to start their cars and do a little revving. Are we going to do that again this year?.. Just thought it would be cool to do it again as it did get mentioned on all the local news.

Brad, I am sorry to hear that. I hope everyone is ok (cept the deer). How bad is the damage?
We will try and meet you guys at Howe Athletic Fields/Park after the parade.

Re: Past Event: Memorial Day Parade and cookout 5/30/11
If anyone has a Ford or Mustang flag that we can borrow for the parade or where I can get one before monday please let me know. I have been looking for one in Lansing and haven't had any luck. Tried looking for a two sided Ford to fly in the middle no luck. Thanks

Re: Past Event: Memorial Day Parade and cookout 5/30/11
taken from the first post in this thread.
"Line-up is at 9:30am on Marlin St. (behind the Family Fare grocery store on the south side of Eaton Rapids).
Parade begins at 11:00am with a flyover from military A-10's.
After the parade we will drive to nearby parking lot for a photo opportunity.
After the photo opp, we will go to the main park (the Howe Field parking lot on Knight St.) where we were back in 2009.
Our BEST behavior is expected during this parade by everyone----NO BURNOUTS or tire chirping during the parade.
We will be having a potluck style cookout at the Howe Athletic Fields/Park right after the parade with yard games, 50/50 raffle, and good times. Hopefully we'll time to discuss some upcoming events and such, also. The club will supply hot dogs, brats, plates and forks, and condiments. We're looking for members to bring some other sides, chips, desserts, and drinks to complete the potluck."

Re: Past Event: Memorial Day Parade and cookout 5/30/11
Tim has the spot correct. We are meeting at the line up area behind the Family Fare grocery store at 9:30am Monday morning! Pull into the Family Fare driveway and make your way to the back of their parking lot (I will be there as early about 8:30am to help get everyone lined up). The Family Fare is on Main St (M-99/M-50), south side of Eaton Rapids.
Also, for the cookout, look at bringing sides (chips, beverages, salads, desserts, etc.). Some people have been already posting what they are bringing, please read through this thread to see what some have said they are doing.

Gotta always check the very first post of the thread, updates are always added there. The info has been there for a while, Facebook messages, and emails sent to remind!
