I just can't wait for this winter weather to go away! I don't know about the rest of you, I'm getting Mustang fever and if I don't get to drive it soon, I might start going a little Jack Nicholson from "The Shining" on someone, lol.

I haven't been on all week here, been real sick with the flu. Had to miss work even and that hasn't happened in 20 years! Can't seem to shake this damn cough.

I can commiserate Dan. I had it about 4 weeks ago, and it had me down for a week.

I still cough at times, so look for a long recovery. It is a nasty bug.

I know how you guys feel. I myself have been down with something that I can't seem to shake. It seems to just hang on for weeks. Maybe it's just the winter blues. Hopefully it will end soon when warmer weather gets here. Smile

I've had the crud for almost 8 weeks. Just will not go away. Never had the sniffels last year, making up for it this year. Get well Dan a little missed work in 20 years never hurt anyone. First day of spring is coming fast if you trust the calendar, Daylight savings is just around the corner too. Won't be long and we'll be complaining about how hot it is outside And 5.00 per gallon gas No

I'll be ready once the weather stays warm. Already have 4 bumper jobs lined up, have to fix my neighbors pick up box, work on 2 gas pumps maybe more and was asked today about a complete job on a Sunbird (I said no Thanks) I am determined to make it to some events this summer so I'm not lining up anything too major this year. Probably won't do much after mid July so I can get back to remodeling my kitchen.
Get that thing all legal so you can drive it without looking in your mirror, I think you got lucky at the last event omgno Talk to ya later.

You might be able to do an off-road X or H pipe and still get the Cherry-Bomb Vortex. That's what I did with mine. And they still bolted on with no problems.

I like my Ford Racing X-pipe and Pypes mid mufflers, Not too loud with a nice rumble. Very easy to install too.

If you want to drive to Holland I will put it on for you. I put the Ford Racing system on Randy's and I like how easy it was and how good it sounds. I just don't think the Cherry Bomb system will sound good on a S197

sorry guys I take into consideration more than just the sound an exhaust makes when you hit the go peddle. Droaning is a major decision for me and the Cherry Bomb system doesn't seem to care about that where as some of the other system put an attempt into quiting the droan down.
And for those that don't know what droaning is it is the sound your exhaust makes around 2200 and 2500 rpm that makes your head want to explode and of course that is usually highway RPM's

I don't have a droaning problem with my car. I have an off road X pipe from Pypes and cat back Vortex from Cherry Bombe. And no drone. As a mater of fact my car really isn't louder now going down the highway than when all I had was just the X pipe.

I have no problem with droaning. Actually, it is documented where Cherry Bomb has put an emphasis on reducing droan, maximizing flow, and adjust frequencies. Not that I am trying to persuade anyone, just defending Cherry Bomb Vortex mufflers against some misconceptions out there about the old and the new product (even between their current line of product, different Cherry Bomb systems are intended for different applications and tastes).
