spring question Empty spring question

will the front springs out of an 03 cobra fit on a 01 GT.......... if so how much lower would it set?



the front of my car sits about 1 1/2 inches higher in the front. and found a good deal on cobra springs, im not worried about the back.

Yes they'll fit. I believe they are the same SR as the Mach springs and are about the same ride height. If your car is sitting so high in the front have you checked to see if the springs are set down into the grove properly?

Well mine did that and it was just worn out springs in the rear. Figured that out when I took out the solid axle and put the IRS in. What's a good deal you got? Cause I have the front cobra springs left over cause just needed the rear. You are welcome to them for just picking them up. I have no use for them and if someone else can then it's worth while.

got my spring installed..

ended up cutting 1 full coil off of the stock springs. only did the front

Very nice. Usually cutting springs makes the ride bouncy, how is your ride quality?

it actually rides pretty good. me and my dad went for a cruise today down to the Jack Daniel's distillery in lynchburg, and it was a nice ride
