painting Spoiler.....

I'm wanting to paint my spoiler black and would like to know if anyone has done this themselves and how did you do it all.....thanks.

Altho I never suggest rattle can painting I can offer this advice..
I would wet sand the spoiler first 1000 grit should do it, just enough to get some fine scratches in, then clean it, then what ive done in the past is shoot a few coats of color and then a few coats of clear coat. Finally wet sand and buff the clear to bring a nice shine. or just spend about 75 dollars at a local paint shop. Hope this helps

i might look and see how much a paint shop will do it for. because i dont want to go and mess it up. thanks for the advice though

yea i would never trust my self or my local dust bunnies/ bugs enough to paint that critical of a part

yeah if i had my own actual paint room/studio i would attempt it but i dont and yeah ill get dust and crap all over it, lol.

i take it to the pant and body shop. and say mr i need this black. and then say thanks and good bye
