Past Event: 28th Street Metro Cruise 8/28/10

It's once again time for one of our most successful events of the year! The 28th Street Metro Cruise in Grand Rapids is approaching fast and I'd like to get an idea who can make it up there again this year.

As usual, we will be at the Grand Rapids Brewing Co. parking lot to hang out at on Saturday, August 28th. I'd plan on being there around the 10-11am range. After we hang in the parking lot for a while, we will head over to Craigs Cruisers again for go-carts and pizza (I figure a good time to head over there will be around 5pm).

The parking lot at Centerpointe Mall (where we will be at) always has a lot going on, not to mention our group seems to get more and more attention there every year. We will be doing a 50/50 drawing with some other prizes also.

MJ and I will also head up the night before if anyone else is interested in staying overnight at the Baymont Inn to enjoy some the events Friday night. If interested, please let me know ASAP, I can get some better corp. rates for rooms.

The rooms are at the Baymont Inn in GR. The corp. rate I can get is $59 + tax for a king size bed non-smoking (roll away beds are no charge) or $65 + tax for 2 queen bed non-smoking (if anyone wants to share) . Right now I have 4 of the king bed rooms reserved, I can make changes to those if needed or add rooms as needed.
I know MJ & I have one room, Randy and Sandy have another, Mike and Jessica have one, and Debbie as a possible for the other.

Please let me know if anyone wants to make changes or add anything, it's no big deal there is availability for more if needed. The rooms are currently under my name, once we get there y'all can change them to your names (and method of payment).

I wont be comming this year guys, nieghbor is drifting in St Louis so we are heading out there to support him.

After much persuading I found someone to cover my shift at work, So I will be there!!! I'll probably stop out Friday too so hopefully I can catch up with you guys!

Hey guys, I'm the guy from Chicago that stoped in at your tent! It was great meeting all of u! Good look'n Stang as well. I hope we can get some kind of meet togeather for next year. So, I can bring some of the Chicagolandmustang guys with me!

It was nice to meet you too I hope we can hook up both groups and do something to sounds fun

Thanks for coming up to our neck of the woods, we'll have to take you up on that offer on getting these clubs together!

Also, to everyone who came to the cruise, thanks for being there to support Wildhorses and the 28th St Cruise! We had a blast at Craigs Cruisers go-carting again.........and this time we may have some vids to post. I will also post up some pics tomorrow.
