Where we will be at and when for 28th St. Metro Cruise.......

Hey everyone, here are some basic details for the upcoming event at the 28th St. Metro Cruise in Grand Rapids:

8/29/09 We will be at the Grand Rapids Brewing Company on 28th st (right in front of the Centerpointe Mall). The major nearby intersection is 28th st and East Beltline ave (a.k.a. Broadmoor ave, M-37), a very busy area. We will get there between 10am-11am and remain there most of the afternoon. If anyone is wondering about where to eat, the Brewing Co. has a great menu. There will be activities all along 28th st and if I recall, there is even a shuttle bus service that takes people to various areas. In the late afternoon/early evening (around 6 or 7pm), we will head to Craigs Cruisers on Clyde Park ave in Wyoming (near 54th st, along the west side of 131) for the pizza buffet, indoor go-carts and much more fun.

For those of us hanging out on Friday night before, those plans are forthcoming.

Hopefully everyone that is coming up on Saturday morning will want to meet and cruise in together. I think if y'all want to do so, meeting at the WalMart off of West Saginaw (exit 93a off of I-96) would work well. It is about a 45min drive to GR from there, so meeting at 10am there may work well.....unless you want to do this earlier. Who wants to lead this group?

I guess I'll wait on the overpass/on ramp at M66 exit 67 until I see a bunch of stangs go by and then I'll tag along from there.
