Starting the swap tomorrow

Tomorrow i'm ripping out this POS non PI engine and putting in the bolt on 03 gt engine on saturday hopefully. Hopefully everything will go well i cant wait to feel the difference. Wish me luck lol.

This is what all is going in it, BBK Cold air intake, 80mm MAF, Accufab plenum & 75mm throttle body, 24lb injectors, MSD Coil Packs and Wires,BBK SFI approved Underdrive Pullies, BBK Tuned Length Shorty Headers, Off-Road H-Pipe, Flowmaster 40's Delta Flows

the h-pipe and flows are already on it but i'm adding everything else to the new engine

got her started today! Going to hopefully get all the loose ends tied up tomorrow. The idle was a little choppy, but i couldnt leave it running long enough for the computer to figure out whats going on. So i'll do that tomorrow. Hopefully itll still run good even though i'm not tuning it yet.

little update, found out why the engine was so choppy....forgot a vac. line. drove it today for a minute and its definately quite a bit faster. all i gotta do now is get the idle adjusted. can someone with a gt tell me where yours usually idles at? i'll try to get some pics up this weekend.

They usually idle (in park/neutral) around 650-700, don't quote me on those exact numbers though.

ok one last update, got the idle set and everything now even with just a bbk cold air intake my strut tower brace wont fit back on....oh well, it gives me a reason to buy a new one, i'm thinkin chrome bbk, should be ordered soon

Sell that BBK and get a JLT. I remember having a BBK on my foxbody and burning the crap out of my hand touching it after driving around. I get near ambient IAT's with the JLT. Just a heads up.
