All Out In April

Well just thought I'd drop a little info for everyone. First off Tj has contacted me and informed me he and some of his friends have had a band going for a bit and was interested in playing live music at the event. This is a great idea and I believe it will be a great asset to the clubs event and help them later if they choose to try and play other places. Another point that I would like to announce is that another car club has offered to help us run things. Team oblivian is going to have their members that can help come out and assist us. Even though they have alot members coming up on deployment they still want to help. So Geri, Megan and myself got with them and got it set up. We offered to help them in return and they informed us of a event they plan to have on July 10th. I really want us to help them the best we can for their contribution to us. And lastely we can still use a few more to work with us so that the time people work is less and everyone has ample time to enjoy the days events. Thanks everyone.

New to the site here and was just wandering if this was an all Mustang event or all cars? Hopefully going to try to make it out to join you guys this summer. Thanks!

It's an all makes all models car show and drag race event we have hosted the past few years. It's open to anyone who would like to come out and participate.

It's still too early to tell, but it looks like it's going to be early morning on Saturday. Forecaster's have been wrong all season on the rain though, it has been coming a day before predicted so far pretty much every time.

I'm touch and go on making it out Saturday. My car is running lean and I've been waiting on my tuner to get my file updated for a month now so I can't do any passes until he gets that updated for me and at this point I have no idea how much longer that's going to take.... If it keeps getting pushed out I'm going to have to get the car dynotuned again and I won't be able to do that for a couple of weeks.

so something came up today and im not gonna be able to make it out this saturday to help you guys out sorry.

i hope the rain will go away. i cant wait to show her off..

What i am thinking thay should do. is still come out sat for the show. And if it rains then thay can tell everone that came sat to come sunday for the show. tell them that thay can get in free for the sunday show. and ever one that comes out sunday thay will have to still pay. And doing it this way it will get more people to come out. and say if thay do go out sat for the show and sit there for 1 or longer having there ride all set up and then rain come. i would be mad. but thats just me..

My drummer had to go on Emergency leave so we won't be able to come out and ply this weekend

I know it's kinda late but just wanted let everyone know we are still going to show up in the morning to see what it doing since the weather has been wrong the past two days. If it comes to it we will make the judgement call if we push it back to Sunday or not. Again we are still planning for the event tomorrow(Saturday).

Jon, I'd say you've got a chance of getting it in if you plan on having a "midnight madness" type of schedule, but it doesn't look good for tomorrow morning through afternoon..

Just checked it again and it's showing rain in Clarksville until 7:00-ish.

Well today was a huge bust and we lost ALOT of money. This might as well not have been a wildhorses event cause we had very few members actually show up to help. Elusive Designs had the mojority of the people out there working things. I understand that the weather hurt us and things happen but the lack of support from the group was just sad.

But I do want to thank Nick, Tina, Ernie, Larry, Sharon, D, Jason, John, Josh and Elusive Designs for all the work everyone did. Megan, Geri, Larry and myself are greatly apprecative. Though we turned out way in the hole today I'm glad everyone there had fun. Thanks again.

ya it was kind of sad that alot of member did not make it out for this show. i just dont understand why WH members could not even try to make it out for the show. And the weather was not that bad for the car show. the sun was out just about all day.
But it was great to see a that club comming out to help us out.

You guys are vere welcome. im glad i had the chance to make it out and do my part for the club.

Atleast our racing was better than the march madness racing.

sorry to hear that the turn out wasn't all that great from the club. wish i could have been there to help out but they finally found a plane for me to get on. so i will see you all in about a year.

with it being prom weekend and needing to do a 14 hour drive sunday to get a marine back to his base. It just was not a good weekend for our family but we really wanted to be there to suport the club. I know this sound like an excuse but when I saw is was on the same weekend as prom. I knew we where going to have to miss it. Keira only gets to be a senior one time and this is her year to have it be all about her. I was going to drive by sunday but this poor marine had such a hard time getting back and was going to be in so much trouble so I desided to get in the car and get him back to his post before he was going to be in to much trouble.

I am sorry the show was a bust and It would be nice to se pictures if anyone took some. This year with keira being a senior and trying to keep her focused on school has been alot of work for me. URGGG
