In the shop again!!!!!!!!!!!
Check this out guys. I'm driving along this afternoon enjoying the beautiful weather when all of a sudden my car just totally shuts down! I look down and the only light on the dash illuminated is the RED battery light. I had no steering or brakes and I'm in traffic!!! So I managed to get my car to the median where I could begin calling friends to come give me a hand. Everyone is at work!!! Anyway, I had to tow it to the stealership who tells me that my CCRM has gone bad and that it's going to cost me $389.00 to replace! My little guy wakes up with 104* fever, I just spent $600 on tires for the wifes car yesterday, my 13 year old calls me to come home early from school sick!!!! What else Lord?!?!?! Man what a day. I am mentally exhausted gang and we need all of the prayers that we can get right now. The Dr. says that my little guy has Strepp throat for the second week in a row and I had to come home early from UPS tonight because his fever got up to 105.1 and I had my wifes car since the stang is still in the shop. My daughter apparently only has drainage but she is Type 1 diabetic so we have to get her to the doctor any time that she doesn't feel right. Like I said, gang, prayers please! I did have one good thing happen today....my wildhorsesclub quarter window stickers came in. Dan thank you so much, you brought a little sunshine to my otherwise gloomy day. You're all angels in my book! Thanks

Re: In the shop again!!!!!!!!!!!
We're thinking about ya, make sure your little ones get well first! After seeing Drew Brees and his boy celebrate after the Superbowl, it really made me envious of y'all with kids. The closest my wife and I have had is raising a nephew for 2+ yrs, I miss that little guy everyday I don't get to see him.

Re: In the shop again!!!!!!!!!!!
Check your relays, i don't believe it's your Cooling Fan/Constant Control Relay Module (CCRM)
Re: In the shop again!!!!!!!!!!!
I already got the car back from the shop yesterday and had to pay them $230.00 to replace the CCRM. I didn't make sense to me either but I already had it towed to them so I let them fix it. I also got two new keys since the one I had was not a Ford key. Repair, labor, keys and towing came to $405! I'm trying to get in touch with the guy who is going to put my top on so I can get that done Friday. I'll post an update later. Thanks Mike!

Re: In the shop again!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm sorry that was such an expensive fix. If they did the work and and that's what it was, i guess it was worth it. If you lived up here in the cold there isn't anything electrical I can't do. I <3 my DMM.

Re: In the shop again!!!!!!!!!!!
Absolutely and I love that idea. Unfortunately, it's just me here and with working two jobs, I only have weekends to work out my vehicle issues. I had to make a quick decision and although it probably wasnt the best one, it did get my car back on the road for now. I just talked to the guy who is going to install my top and he can't do it until next week now. Apparently he is working on a Ford Falcon project that he's trying to finish up. Thanks for the offer on the help and when something else comes up I'll be sure to contact you guys before going anywhere. What's your number as I was trying to call everyone I knew before having it towed but couldn't get in touch. I even called Chris, MustangChris, from SN95 but he's in CO so I don't think that it was even daylight there yet when this was happening.
