Another quick update...

well guys we attended the Autorama event yesterday at Cobo in Detroit... for those that didn't make it this event was the best car show i have ever been to. We walked around for 4+ hours and still didn't see everything... We also got a chance to talk to the guys from Livernois (For those that don't know Livernois is a Ford Mod-Motor & GM LS-Series Specialist that specializes in Performace Parts, Installations, and Dyno Tuning)... And don't worry Zack, just because they specialize in mod motors don't mean they can't work with your push rod motor... The guys seemed very friendly and all i have ever heard about them was great stuff. They said for a single tune would be about $500-$550 but this includes the SCT Tuner that will hold up to 6 tunes. They didn't give us a price yet on multiple tunes but they also said that they would cut us a discount if we had multiple cars come in... Dan has the name and number on the guy we need to talk to and will hopefully be getting some info here soon... Livernois is a 1 hour and 43 minute drive from charlotte... you can check out livernois at www.livernoismotorsports.com. We also have some leads on some more vendors willing to give a club discount and will hopefully have then on board soon...

Im not too worried Rick!!! Im not gonna do much to it as far as motor..... prob put in a cam, air intake manifold, put my headers on.... and call it good!!! My next car is gonna be a Mod motor though..... when this one is done!!! LOL!!

Were they quoting you for a canned tune or dyno tune? If it's for a dyno tune then that is a good deal.

That's a dyno tune with the SCT 3 tuner. We still may be able to get better, have to get more details on bringing more cars.

yeah that was for a dyno tune with the SCT 3 tuner and they also put the bug in your exhaust and everything...

I dont want bugs in my exhaust!!! LOL!!!

so what do the push rod guys set cuz i have no use for a sct im obd1.

i don't know what they do for you guys i just know that can tune pushrod cause your motor is tuned by them LOL

They probably put a mod chip in instead of an SCT

I bought my XcallII & tune from them when my car was still NA. I think it was about 350 bucks, But this was about 5 years ago. good guys to deal with.

yeah they seemed like great guys and very decent pricing for what you get...

alright guys i just got a response back from Livernois and its $150 per additional tune... basically what your looking at is $400 for the tuner and $150 per tune.... so one tune would be $550, 2 tunes is $700, etc.... plus dan is contacting them about the possibility of a club discount....

sounds cool but i've already got a tuner.....will they work with diablo-sport?

just cuz mine already has one of their tunes dont mean nothing i already need a new one...better faster parts=need of new tune.
