Dyno Day??? - Page 2 Empty Dyno Day

Post by cnews85 Sun Feb 01, 2009 1:23 pm

We could check out this place and see what kind of work they do first. If its worth it and trustworthy I think dyno day could be a lot of fun. We do have a while to go before warm weather. Paul's do good work but they are very high priced by any standard. Just my opinion for what its worth. Very Happy

as stated by a couple people here this may be a possiblity later on but as of right now we don't know when the weather is going to break so no point in setting a date as of this time.... as we get closer we will have to see who is interested... i am probably out for this as i want to get a dyno tune this spring so no sense in paying for dyno time twice just to get the same numbers....

Interested---definitely. We can get plenty together, I think we all just need to get some warm weather 1st. I know I've got other issues to fix before hand.

These are the places that I could find that people had good things to say about (when it comes to quality work):
All Speed Performance
Alternative Auto Performance
Pauls High Performance

.....only problem is they are all a good drive from here (and cost of coarse). In most cases, especially if your mostly stock, hand-held tunes are fine. But, if your running power adders, these guys are the ones I would trust.

actually Allspeed is about 2 hours from here, Alternative is also about 2 hours, and Pauls is only like a half hour... i don't know about you guys but i am more than willing to drive 2 hours each way to get a good tune so i don't have to worry about scattering my motor... 4 hours of drive and about $40 worth of gas is more than worth it to me rather than getting a junk tune and having to rebuild my motor...
