Dyno Day???
Anyone be interested in doing a Dyno Day??? I contacted a guy in Jackson said we could to $50 pulls.... each pull they run 3 times and it take around 30 mins per pull and if you want to do a tune.... it is $120 per hour. I thought the prices were good.... but we can only get it at $50 instead of $65 if we can get 8 cars going!!!

Dyno Serve is what it said on the website!! He said he has a Mustang Dyno... so if people have ran a dyno test on a track dyno.... this one will tell you more exact where you are at!!

Let's do some looking into this first, we want to make sure we go to a reputable shop too. Sorry Zack, I couldn't call you back, I was busy in GR at the hospital most of Tues.

Re: Dyno Day???
A few things:
1) Turner CONGRATS !!!!!!! on the new baby on the way
2) with all the events we have planned this year not sure where we can fit it in as a club.( Events will be posted as soon as they are finalized this weekend..... RIGHT SHADY )
3) Dan is right we need to do some research on the shop before we as a CLUB can plan for this.
4) with a majority of us on the unemployment line we need to find events close and inexpensive.

Re: Dyno Day???
i would probably be down for the Dyno day possibly but i have never heard of the company so no way in hell they will be tuning my car... might be worth checking into if they will let you rent the dyno by the hour if you bring in your own tuner... I'm not sure if Paul's High Performance in Jackson has a dyno ro not, but if they don't it might be worth checking on using their dyno and getting Paul's to do the tune...

Re: Dyno Day???
Paul's High Performance FTW! If I still lived in MI, Paul would be the only one touching my vehicles.

Re: Dyno Day???
Paul charges like 850$ for a dyno tune. Hell, I'd rather drive to MPH then spend that much at Pauls.

That also includes a tuner and several (possibly unlimited) tune changes...if I can remember right.
Re: Dyno Day???
Bob Kurgan in Chicago charges 350 for his tune and dyno time and he'll spend the time on the phone with you talking to you. Every time I've called Pauls he was short and seemed like I was wasting his time.
Re: Dyno Day???

Re: Dyno Day???
I think this is a failed event... not many people are interested.... we need at least 8 people to get a discount!!

Re: Dyno Day???
Zack, I don't think this is a "failed event", you just brought this up a couple days ago (not to mention it is February 1st w/at least 2 months more of this winter crap). We are all up for something like this, why rush into plans right now? Patience young grasshopper, we'll get some deal together, just be patient.Maxstealth04 wrote:I think this is a failed event... not many people are interested.... we need at least 8 people to get a discount!!

Re: Dyno Day???
The only way my car gets on a dyno this time of year is if the put one in my garage.

Re: Dyno Day???
im not really rushing things.... it was jus an idea.... and I know how hard of a time we have to get people to commit to an event... so I figured I could post something way early that way we would have time to plan it and people can request the day off or something!!
