(Quad Tips) So it's late and I just had a Brilliant idea that....

...I more than likely just wanna do just cause I'm up late and tired!

I saw a LS1 site link that someone posted for Corsa quad tips and loved them. For all of you that don't know, Quad tips on a mustang is a HUGE no-no, but I think they look aggressive, just like the rest of my car.:tomato

is it just for looks or does it do anything for performance?

Exhaust tips do nothing for for performance.

I dont understand why it would be a No No on then tips.

I don't really know, lol. Most "Young" mustang people associate 4 tips with F-bodies. Although, several old muscle cars came stock with quad tips.

I think people jump on a "Rice" bandwagon as well.

My 69 Mach1 had stock quads. I've owned a lot of of old muscle cars and quad tips look great on most all of them and LOTS of people do it.

you know everyone has an opinion. you do what you like, its your car.
I am turning my car into a kit car kinda I have had some people tell me no and other say it would be cool. the fact is that its your car and I hope no one gives you hell about it. I like it both was. the double tips make your car differant and I dont see it as a bad or good differant but I see you as making the car your car and I like that!!!! if they all look the same then what would be the use of making the car ours. I love the differant things people do to there mustangs to enclude the tips. hugs

The slant quads look good, but not great. The straight tips look like arse.

i's say do it. on your car the way you have it set up now it would look pretty cool. on mine with the more squard off design not so great. in my opinion go with the tips in your first pic.

If you realy want quad tips.... go side exhaust!!!
