Yes. The Whipple setup on my 06 gt was the non-intercooled version. You don't have to run higher boost to have the intercooler setup, you just run a larger pulley. Also with the intercooled version you make more power. Plus you can usually find used kits for good deals that have almost everything, if not everything.

let me know what parts besides the supercharger you guys need, i may be able to come up with some. this winter we're putting a chevy drivetrain in a fox body so the owners will probly have a lot of 5.0 parts he'll be selling cheap. I already called the alum driveshaft though!

The 6psi kit is fine to run without the intercooler; however, you could probably get by running 8psi without an intercooler, just make sure you have a good tune and don't really beat on the car a whole lot. If it was me though I would just buy an intercooled kit and be done with it. That way you can run more boost later on but also you will make more power than the non-intercooled.

Well I would save up just a little bit more and look around. I have seen centri kits intercooled going for 2200-2400 shipped.

Re: HCI setup for blake...
corral's classified section is pretty good. They usually have a lot of power adders for sale in there.

Used. Most of the kits for sale also have the supporting mods too (injectors, maf, etc). You can find them all over (ebay, corral, svtp, modularfords, mustangforums, highperformancetangs, etc).
