Re: should i get a new mustang
If he plays the cards right... he actually could come home and pay for it in cash!! They have a thrift savings plan... if you put $10,000 in it... in one year it will double!!! But it only works for when you are over seas!!

Re: should i get a new mustang
LOL, ok, first of all don't listen to zack and try to buy the MOST expensive thing out there. I say, save your money. Wait till you get back, make sure you have a home to live in first, wether it be an apartment or whatever.. a good job... then look at getting a resonable priced mustang if you so desire. Zack and I have seen quite a few older ones (in the 90's) for 3500 or less. Its not a brand new one, or current year, but its still a mustang, and therefore still club eligible. Just my 2 cents.

I agree with heather you should get one of the old 60s or 70s and revive it!!!

Re: should i get a new mustang
Heck, if you would of caught me a few different times this winter you could have gotten it for pennies. As Tim will point out, I'm never happy and I'm easily irritated with my car. I'm half temped to buy a v6, TT it and put it into a wall at 130 so I can have 75 vestal virgins.

Re: should i get a new mustang
I know who your talking about. The funny thing is I had an 85 that I sold a month before I joined the club but it was almost in mint condition and I could only get $4850 out of it. I miss that car

I always wanted a Notch Fox but now I couldn't imagine having crappy interior. I don't know of any way to make fox interior look good.
Re: should i get a new mustang
Swap in an SN95 interior into a fox. It looks awsome
I can see the little gears inside your head turning now Mike :*naughty*:

I've already been down the mentally challenged exploration.... That's soooo much fab work. Shortening the dash, redesigning the doors would be just too much for me to take on, lol. I'm just gonna sell the car after the summer and buy my classic mustang i've always wanted. Or buy a termi and forget it. :*blahblah*: :*bonk(: I'm like Sible...which personality is coming out today?
Re: should i get a new mustang
The few posts I've seen on it say there was very little trimming to do. It seemed pretty bolt in. But I could have read it wrong

Re: should i get a new mustang
I'm not sure on the amount of inches that need to be cut but the batwing style dash impairs the use of the inner door handles.
