Gas Prices!!!

Did anyone else noticed the dramatic price jump??? I go to work this morning it was like $3.49 a gallon, get off of work and gas stations are running from $3.99 - $4.15 a gallon.. Come on oil companies, Hurricane Ike hasn't even hit the coastline yet!!! Even as I was filling up this afternoon, the store attendant already said they were told from corporate to raise prices another 20 cents on Saturday..

Has any of the other areas experienced this gas increases as well??? Hell even the news said to expect prices to reach close to $5 by Monday..What the hell!!!!

If everyone didnt buy gas for 1 day... then the oil companies would have a sh*t fit and all prices will drop drasticly.. but 4.15 is crazy.. i want $1 a gallon again

You know the oil companies are using any excuse they can to gouge the public. Crude is going down, but gas goes up only because it's hurricane season. If it weren't hurricane season, they would just find some other excuse.

Excuses, excuses, you hear them every day.

Indy jumped up too but I know a good majority of it had to do with the races in town this weekend. We were $3.48-3.65 and now are around $3.79-3.89.

There were some idiot stations creating mass panic at $4.99-$5.25+ earlier today up here in MI. Damn price gouging morons!

yeah, when i went to class on thursday. When i drove by at 7:45 am it was at like 3.47 i think. After class 2ish, i went and filled up and paid 4.01 a gallon for 93@BP. I was about to crap my pants when is saw that!

a couple gas stations in the lansing area hit $6.20 a gallon but most of them stayed right at $3.94 where they have been all week

gas is over 4 in Indy now

4.99 on the way back from Atlanta today.

I filled up Friday morning at 1:00 in the morning. I heard it threw the grape vine that it was going up. It was $3.49 a gallon.

the attorney general is investagating any gas gouging and already flying j, pilot and a few others are in deep sh*t over it..they where the first to go to $4.99 a gallon trying to sper a panic..

that is going to suck bad if gas goes up to 5 a gal..
i would end up spending like 150 a week in gas..

Saw it at 4.19 in Nashville a few places today.

idk the good ole presadenta came on TV the other night said that if the price goes up too high like a huge increase... than you can sew the gas stations for gouging!!! My Dad delivers fuel for a gas station so he knows if the price is goin up before the gas stations raise... and he said it wasnt higher at the terminal so if the prices go up its cause the gas stations want more!!!!

our area is at $4.19 now but we are normally like $3.97 so they probably won't do anything about a .22 jump but i heard the guys that went to $5 or $6 a gallon can get sued by the customers to get their money back and they will get a $10,000 fine from the government

word!!!

I don't get what's going on either but it seems pretty crazy!

Crude oil has closed as low as $90.55 on the stock market this past week. The last time crude oil has fallen to $90/barrel was in Feb 2007 at which time the national average of gas was $2.70 a gallon.

Just goes to show it's all about the money the oil companies can get.. There's no other choice and the oil companies know this, so it's pay up or find another mode of transportation...

I just can't believe the price difference here within a 10 mile radius. We were out driving today and prices ranged from $3.51 on one side of town, to $4.09 on the opposite side of town. That's over a fifty cents difference, so these higher price stations has to be in it strictly for profit. I know I filled up at the $3.51 when we came across it. On the way home people were stopping at these stations that were over $4 a gallon, I was astounished people still were using the higher gas priced stations??? Seems word of mouth would spread about the lower priced station and people quit using the $4 stations?????

in the news paper they list where the lowest price gas station are. by exit 89 at the pilot it has gone down to 3.45
