2001 cobra

alright guys I'm ready to trade in my car for something with 4 valves and two more cylinders. A guy offered me 12,500 for my car tonight (nada resale value is 10,000) (but I have 4,000 in mods in it). I'm wondering what kind of 01 cobra I could find for 12,500-13,500. Any ideas?

oh and do you think 12,500 for my car is a good deal? It has 50,000 miles btw.

ps i got a guy with a dsg mach 1, 11k miles, 15.5obo in maine...thats a really great deal.. You could probably go in and neg. maybe get it for 14500. But ya I can find u a 99-01 cobra for 13 for sure

I got to get at least 12,500 out of my car first, assuming that I can get a mid-mileage 01 cobra for 13,500ish, which I think I can. Basically, I don't want much more than a 1,000 difference.

dsg is my favorite maine is a long ways away.

if this deal falls through with the guy wanting my car, think 12,500 is reasonable for my car? Mods are in my sig and the car is in perfect shape.

where is this deal? is the car stock? where's it at?

okay how much do u think a 94 cobra would be, with 38k miles full exhaust, intake, tb, cobra rims, 2k mile tires, and other bolt ons good for 270 rwhp and 331 ft/lbs

all these deals sound nice, but bottom line is... I'm not going to take a huge loss on my car. i've just put too much in it. Unless I can get 12,500 for it, which is rediculous I know unless i can find a buyer who would appreciate the mods i have put into it, I'm not going to do anything.

i was talking about the cobra with 52k miles and a 13.5 asking price..thats way to much.. i found one with 29k miles for that price

a lot of factors in there.

for one in good cosmetic shape and low miles, 5,000 would be my guess. I never look at pre-99's though.

i can get u a 03 cobra that has a rebuilt title for 16 with 20k miles

well ur guess is pretty dam close...its pretty much in mint shape

I want a clean title. and no pre-99s.

I've still got to sell my car, though.

Other option would be to return my car to stock and sell it. then sell the mods.

Scenario: I sell my car for 12,500, or even 12,00, the way it sits. We can find a car for 13ish without downgrading? A nice 01 cobra with 50kish miles in good shape for 13 is reasonable?

I don't want to sell my car and get something that isn't in the prestine shape that mine is just to get a v8 is what I'm getting at.
