I really wanna do the 4:10s soon. I just dont wanna have to mess with the axles and everything else.

I'm hoping to get some buddies or maybe some guys on here to help out to save me some money on the install.

I'll be sure to take your guys advice on the launching once I get the gears.

I want that "seat of your pants" feeling and I think the gears are the best way to go. My gf is already scared when I take off and go through the gears really quick. So when I get the 4:10s she's gonna freak out.....in a good way..... Very Happy

Hey...Anyone think that some moser 28 splines would be sufficent? Is that what you meant jason? I actually may do that.

My goal is prolly 350rwhp...I posted this on another forum but i'm thinkin if so...i'm gonna get those and a carbon clutch rebuild kit and run that setup. I bet it would hold up.

I ran around 325rwh on the stock 8.8 spline and 3.73's I may wanna take the rear end apart to check everything though :*drive*: lol

Trading out the gears

My .02...Get some meats (Nitto 555R's) to cover your rear tires then try the track. They will be a cheaper mod than gears and you'll be surprised what a difference the 555R's make.

I've had some other suggestions about the tires making a big difference. I just really want the gears.....Just gotta get them cheap enough and installed cheap enough.

Dont be cheap buy only name brand stuff. I can get it done for(set up) 260 but the axle has to be out of the car

I planned on buying name brand stuff. I'm not worried about spending the money on the actual gears. The money for the setup and installation is what scares me.
