Does anyone else have cars older than 1980?

Post by Guest on Mon Oct 25, 2010 9:07 pm

Most of the cars I see on here are newer Stangs, 1994 and newer and a few 80's cars. Does anyone have any old school muscle? Nothing wrong with new cars, I have an 09, just wondered.

Unfortunaltly most of the cars are Fox,SN95 or S197's. We have tried to get the older cars to come out but most of the people that own those type of cars tend to not want to enjoy them and are perfectly content with them setting in the garage. I hope you guys drive your cars

Oh yes, I drive them! My 71 is just a fun cruiser, he has imperfect paint & some pitting in the chrome, but I have a blast driving it! I don't care for trailer queens, they aren't enjoyed for what they are. I love driving all of them. I really love the 09's cornering & speed! My 70 isn't done yet, but I'll drive it too. Rain or shine...just not snow. Its too bad that ppl won't join up with older cars, but I'll bring mine to club events when I can.

We'd like to see some of the older 'stangs also. In time I guess. Keep on driving yours though, hope to see it out with all of our late models sometime. I think if people start seeing the older cars out with us, it will only help attract others.

No older Mustangs. Had a 69 Cougar vert for a year, about 6 years ago. You can see the current crop in the signature (no I haven't been able to sell the wagon yet. Hopefully, next spring).

I have a project car... 63 Fairlane ( similar to Thunderbolt )... no rust. I plan on putting a Dart 363ci motor and a 6spd T-56 in it. Lite like a Fox, should move pretty good. also planning on installing a new Mustang 2 suspension into it, thus eliminating special headers because of clearance issues with shock towers, and to have disc brakes on the front instead of the stock drums.

I don't get much chance to get online lately, been extremely busy... Haven't done much to the car but drive the H--L out of it & put LOTS of gas in it... It's a blast! It needs a few things,(like traction). Can't wait to see what it'll do at the track. It's pretty fast. I thought my STANG was fast, but the Falcon makes it feel like a go-cart.
