Re: Tri-State Chapters Meet!!!!
I said the cabins and rv's sound good because we could split the cost's. $170/8 = $21.25 a person. Really I could care less where we stay as long as there is a bed. :^drunk^:
But you have to admit setting around a campfire drinking beer is much better than setting around a grill in a parking lot

yeah tim i'm thinking camping sounds like more fun than a hotel... if we could get like 2 or 3 people to get adjoining sites we could all just party there and then the pansies could go back to their best western LOLBraMas wrote:I said the cabins and rv's sound good because we could split the cost's. $170/8 = $21.25 a person. :_lol_: Oh yeah the campground sounds like a great idea, AJ and I would be down for something like that! Sounds way more fun around a campfire!

Re: Tri-State Chapters Meet!!!!
can we do a poll to see how many people want to do hotels and how many want to do a cabin. Like I said I am willing to put my credit card up for a cabin if enough people are going to stay in it to be worth getting

Dan did you find any better rates?? I've been in touch with over 30 different hotels and the Days Inn is the best I could find so far at $67 per night. This is the price for either a single or double..Danstang wrote:I should have time to look into rates also this weekend.

No, didn't have much better luck yet, but I'm still looking. My company has corporate rate available at some locations, just need to look a little further into which may be close and if they will let us us a rate if available.Fast Eddie wrote:Dan did you find any better rates?? Re: Tri-State Chapters Meet!!!!
Sounds good to me!
There is always double bed rooms that can be shared, to reduce costs.

Re: Tri-State Chapters Meet!!!!
Yeah, the nearest I could get is in Princeton, IN (about an hour away) @ $60 per night. We'd be better off with the $67 per night rate being closer to the park (with gas prices the way they are).

Hotel is locked in!!
OK everyone the Hotel is Booked!! Rates are $63 per night for a single room and $68 per night for a double room plus tax ($8.00). We have 18 rooms booked. I've got the rooms booked in a grouping under my name. If you are planning to attend this event either send me a PM or email for details to get a room. All rooms have to be paid in full by July 15th. If you are getting a double to share with someone. I'll also need names of everyone in the rooms and if 2 individuals are paying for the room or 1 person. Finally any rooms that are not paid for by July 15th will be turned back into the hotel. These rooms are first come first serve bases.
Next I'll be working on group discounts for Holiday World!!! Can't wait until August to see all the new faces as well as some of my older friends.. :*woohoo*:
Rooms:
10 Non-smoking double rooms (2 beds)
