Past Event: Fall Color Tour Oct 18th

CHANGE OF DATE TO OCTOBER 18th

We will be leaving Charlotte at 10 am sharp.(please arrive a little early if you can) We will be proceeding to Hastings (M-79) then to Wayland (M-179 , M -43, Patterson Rd, (135th Ave ( Hayes Rd,) then to Dorr (135th Ave and 18th St SW ) then to Zeeland (18th St. SW, 100th St. SW(Adams St. SW), 96th Ave) We will then be stopping for Lunch at Pizza Hut at 237 E. Main St. Zeeland. Then proceed north on 96th Ave to M-45, 68th St. in Allendale. Then proceed to Coopersville, Then to 131 and the end of our run at the Meijers in Rockford. There will be turn by turn maps handed out to everyone who attends so if you get lost you can find the group. Also I will print my cell number on the map so if you have a question just call. Please let me know if you will be joining us along the route. You can PM me for a phone number to call.

This Route will be checked for road work and drivablity

although a picnic would be a bit cheaper i think a restaurant/fast food joint would be a lot easier considering we would be driving for a while before...

Yeah, we really need to get something planned ASAP for this. I'd really like to make it so we'd have to go on my weekend off Oct. 3rd, 17th, or 31st. Halloween is a bust (unless we do something way early), I believe the corn maze was planned for the 17th (we can change this plan to different weekend when I work on Sat. being that I am off at 5pm), or we can try in short notice on the 3rd and risk not having enough members notified ahead of time. How does Oct. 17th sound, we can move the maze up a weekend to the 10th and get better group rates for that (the corn maze gets real busy the last 3 weekends before Halloween)? It seems everything has been going on while I'm stuck working this past 2 months.

X2 Randy, if you can't make it because of work on your end on the 17th (and the 10th works better for you), by all means keep it that way. My ride may be parked by then the way my past few days have gone.

I would not be upset if it was on the 17th as having it on the 10th cuts into my vacation. We also could do this on sunday the 18th. The poll is up till friday then I will finish the plan. I think Sunday the 18th using a west route and doing a inexpense resturant is the way to go.

I don't know if we will be able to make it or not yet. Still trying to not have to sell my car to make my house payment. Wow what a decision, a house to live in or a car to show off. What ever will I do. If things work out, I'll PM you to let you know if we'll make it or not.

Hey Randy, give me a call or I'll call you Sunday night (I'm working 10am-8pm or so). We can dial in this route you mentioned on the first post. The Lansing area group will leave from the Meijers in Charlotte at 10am (per Randy's 1st post) and head west. Shady/Tim, I'll call you Monday, we need to post the rest of the info no later than Monday night.

well guys there is 35 minutes left of monday night and i see no info... LOL i'll be there as long as you tell me where to meet sunday and by time i get there sunday there is a route planned....
