well my car should be ready in two weeks... im gonna tune it myself, the guy who had the black cobra sitting with Benny (bennyblown2v) knows a lot of **** about the SCT tuning software and hes self tuned his kenne bell cobra, and has the files for that, so im ordering the SCT pro tuning software and going that route, so hopefully ill be able to get everything installed by next weekend and sometime next week or weekend get with that guy and get it up and running.

Have you thought about possibly ordering a tune from someone until you take it somewhere to get a dyno tune? Because even without using a dyno your probably going to end up with a conservative tune to stay on the safe side.

well we are gonna tune it based on WOT 4th gear pulls on probably 65 or something... cant really think of where theres a long enough road to get some pulls in like that. after that its gonna be up to me to learn and play around with the fuel maps and whatnot to get the street daily driving aspect nailed down. supposedly the guy has a good base tune with all the mods i have that is only gonna require nailing down the MAF function and getting the fuel maps adjusted, along with a couple other things

im gonna eventually hit up a local dyno once i get the software all figured out and buy a couple hours dyno time to really dial it in. i figure that will help me finalize the tune after we get it close on the 4th gear pulls and some tinkering while daily driving

There is a new place over by the airport that does sct tuning now. You may want to check them out, Performance Driven. Their shop rate it only $60/hr but I'm not sure what they charge for tuning.

P.S~ I can just see the look on AJ's face when that happened, he said him and David just looked at each other and paused and said where was the camera! I had a few good laughs all the way into Sunday!
