M1 Abrams Tank System Maintainer or Radar Repairer: M1 Tank mechanic thats a rough job man.
Radar Repairer: Depending on what radar system you may either be in a Military Intelligence unit, or a Field Artillary unit.
"Multiple Launch Rocket System Automated Tactical Data Systems Specialist: Repairing the targeting sight and computer on the MLRS, which is a badass weapon system.
Good Luck with that man, also request Fort Campbell and come hang out with us!!

Re: Shady in Army
yeah i heard M1 could be a rough job and lots of heavy lifting.... i was leaning mostly towards the Radar Repair (94M). They said it would be a great one to get into because when you get out the airports love to hire you to work on their radars.... Multiple Launch Rocket System Automate Tactical Data Systems Specialist (13P) looks like a fun job but it looks like a very complex system and the AIT is only 7 weeks... sorta scary

I don't know what you're really talking about but if you have a chance to go in the Air Force you'd be a fool to not do it. The Air force is the best quality of life and the Marine Corps is the Best hard core life. I did 4 in the corps and 6 in the army, my real dad retired from the AF and he by far had the easiest life. While I was stationed in Iraq/Afgan I didn't meet one A/F flyboy that had anything larger than a sidearm issued to them. If I had to do it all over again I still would have joined the marine corps but instead of the Army I would have went in the A/F.
Re: Shady in Army
quick update: looks like i am here for a while longer. Not sure if i can go airforce yet because like 5 years ago i had a UAW credit card and then i lost the UAW job and couldn't afford the card anymore. And because my fiance has 2 kids... appearantly they are looking for a single person with no kids or married with 1 kid... they are willing to over look one of my things but not both... i should find out tomorrow for sure...
If they don't accept me then i am definately going Army Active Duty and will be leaving out July 11th for basics and won't be done with AIT until like next august (9 weeks of basics and 45 weeks of AIT). Good news is either way i can hit Tri-state still this year since we planned it early this year.

You gave the recruiter too much information.

That's a great MOS. Most of your field duty will be in the hooch, lol. Good luck bud, I'm glad you got a non combat arms MOS.
Also, everyone tells tall tales and trys to re-invent themselves when they join the military. I knew one guy that claimed he was a model and another guy that thought he was a werewolf. Don't be that guy. we can always tell when it's just a story. You're going to meet a lot of brians and a lot of people who say they did things they never did. YOu'll even meet a lot of people who think you're dog crap because you're not a combat MOS.
Good luck, don't screw it up and don't get dead.
Re: Shady in Army
good news! i got a call today from my airforce recruiter and he got them to approve my 2 waivers so its looking like airforce again! I was really hopeing to go airforce all along just didn't think i could get in but now its looking possible!
