CAN ANYONE HELP ME FIND A SUPERCHARGER OR TURBO KIT FOR MY CAR. I HAVE LOOKED BUT I AM JUST WAITING FOR A GREAT DEAL TO COME ALONG I FIGURED IF I HAD MORE PEOPLE LOOKING IT MIGHT COME SOONER. I WAS ALSO WONDERING IF ANYONE KNEW IF I COULD USE A STOCK EATON OFF OF AN 03-04 COBRA ON MY CAR OR IF SOMEONE COULD CUSTOM BUILTD A TURBO KIT FOR MY CAR.

Clint,

It all depends on your "Goal." What do you want to do with your car?

Either way a turbo or supercharger is not a bad choice for the GT. If it was my choice I would go with a Novi 2000 blower and supporting mods. They sound super sweet and make great reliable power. A Kenne Bell is a real close second.

No you can not use a 03/04 cobra eaton, I have 3 grand tied up in my ported eaton swap thats just in parts to make it run right. You might find your killer deal but I would check into what supporting mods your gonna need because things can add up quick.

very true. How much HP are you trying to push? That would really dictate the supporting mods you'd need and even what blower to get to meet that goal.

dont have any goals set yet. i have a 2004 mach 1 not a gt. i would like to be right around 450 to the wheels. i already have catless x-pipe, aluminum driveshaft, slp loudmouth 1's, 315/35/17 nitto 555r drag radials, and it has been tuned.

at 450 to the wheels you're getting borderline on needing forged rods and pistons since the mach already has a forged crank. A centri blower will be the easiest way to get there on a mach. I would check out corral.net they have a large power adders classified section and there's been some good deals on there.

I would highly recommend a procharger d1sc for a mach 1...People are having great success with those in terms of power and et times. I believe a guy with a d1sc, exhaust, and nitto dr's ran an 11.4. I think the video was on youtube..if I can find it I'll post it. If your looking for a kick in the pants street car the KB is the best choice for a 32V mod motor. If your looking for a street/strip combo id go with procharger.

search for corey mach 1 procharger on youtube and you'll find it..before the transbrake and stall convertor he was running 11.5 as shown on the youtube video. In the youtube video these were his mods:
ATI ProCharger D1SC w/3 Core Intercooler
Bassani X-Pipe
DynoMax Ultra Flo Cat-Back
AutoLogic Chip
3.90 Gears
31 Spline Axles

After the transbrake and stall hes now running 10.99 on a stock short block.

Oh forgot you had a mach now. well in that case yes you can use an 03/04 supercharger but you must have all of it.

ok so here is my two cents: I did alot of research on this stuff. First I'll go ahaed and say suercharger. Now here is why, with a turbo kit u will have the possibilty to make more power its just the nature of turboing. But u can only make as much as your engine is built to take so if u want to throw down like 450 or more u would have to grab some forged pistons and rods. Ur crank already is. There is a ton more work and custom fab with a turbo. Plus they are a bit tougher to tune right than a supercharger. With a centri supercharger say a novi Paxton vortech u can run like 8 to 10 lbs of boost safely with a good tune maybe more not sure. that would put u over 400 in a 32v I'm sure. its possible to install I'd yourself so u save money and have the satisfaction of doing it . And also supercharging seems to be a bit cheaper. I went with a vortech s-trim clean install I did it myself well me and my buddies did. So that's just my opinion.

thats very true, i wouldnt go turbo on a v8 unless i was looking for over 500. With a mach I would definately go with a centrifigul so your scoop can stay functional (not that it really helps but it looks cool and makes a mach a mach) Plus you can reach your goal a lot cheaper.

But I agree with stanglover about kenne bell....by far my favorite blower but it would make your scoop non functional

Correct. But, the cost would well exceed a centri blower and supporting mods.

From what I remember seeing it was an easy mid 12 w/ street tires. Low 12 w/ DR's.

it all depends lol driver, supporting mods, how hot your girlfriend is ..... but im saying if u can drive well and do it right u'd be in the 12s. but are u a 5 speed ? and how good are u i give u high twelves low thirteens

I think with your mods you be in the high 11's with ease with a d1sc, depending on track prep, weather conditions, driver skills, etc..
